Tres Riches Heures
Overview
The most famous illuminated manuscript of the late Middle Ages, a book of hours made for Jean Duc de Berry by the Limbourg brothers between 1412 and 1416, unfinished at their deaths. Its calendar pages of peasants and aristocrats in flowing landscapes define the International Gothic style.
