Overview
The most influential manuscript of Carolingian art, a psalter of around 830 with 166 dynamic pen drawings illustrating every psalm verse. Its expressive sketch style shaped later medieval art from Canterbury to Harley Psalter copies. Kept in Utrecht since 1716.
