Codex Gigas
Overview
The Devil's Bible, the largest surviving medieval manuscript, 92 cm tall and weighing 75 pounds, made in early 13th century Bohemia. Legend says a monk wrote it in one night with the devil's help, hence its famous full page portrait of the Devil. It also holds the complete Historia Bohemica of Cosmas.
