The chief manuscript of Homer's Iliad, copied around 950 in Byzantium with the full set of ancient marginal scholia, the commentary of the Alexandrian scholars. Its scholarly apparatus preserves lost works of Aristarchus and others. In Venice since 1423, when it arrived with Bessarion's library.
