Paris Codex
Overview
A Maya screenfold of 22 leaves, long known as the Peresianus, preserving katun chronicles, zodiac constellations, and gods of the months. Blackened by age, its text came to light through infrared study. One of only four surviving Maya books, in Paris since 1832.
