Great Isaiah Scroll
Overview
The best preserved of the Dead Sea Scrolls, a complete scroll of Isaiah copied around 125 BCE and found in 1947. It is about a thousand years older than any previously known Isaiah manuscript and is remarkably close to the medieval Masoretic text, proving the fidelity of scribal transmission.
